Cobalt Healthcare and Rehabilitation: A Team from our church visits monthly for music and prayer with the residents. We have sent Valentine cards and sponsored Christmas and Easter parties with refreshments and music.

Food Bank: We sponsor weekly collections of food, help sort the food collected in the annual Post Office drive, and sponsor children through purchasing Christmas gifts for families in need.

ABC Women’s Center: We participate in the baby bottle drive to fill baby bottles with change between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day and support the annual Banquet fundraiser.

Haddam Neck Fair: The Fair is held each Labor Day Weekend and we are known for our fabulous BBQ chicken. From our proceeds we give a portion to various world missions. We also provide Sunday Worship at the Bandstand, with gospel music accompanied by a band, choral singers.

Other Charitable Organizations: We financially support other organizations as needs arise in the community.

Congo Relief. Our church sponsors two children through a monthly pledge and many members also personally sponsor a child.

Covenant World Missions. We sponsor missionaries throughout the world and periodically host speakers during Sunday service to hear about the wonderful work that they are doing.

KICY. We support this Christian radio station in Alaska, which broadcasts to native Alaskans in their dialects and for most is the only radio station that they have. The radio station also broadcasts to the Western part of Russia. We have hosted Salmon dinners to raise money for KICY. They send a speaker with fresh salmon, which we cook and set up for 100 guests who enjoy both the food and the moving story of how they make a difference in their community.

Samaritans Purse. This is a wonderful missionary group that spreads the word of God and provides tangible help to people throughout the world. We participate in Operation Christmas Child where we pack shoe boxes with toys, school supplies, and personal hygiene items for children. We typically fill 50 boxes and take them to a central point in CT for shipment.

Other Charitable Organizations. Using the designated portion of the Chicken BBQ proceeds, we financially support many individual organizations such as Congo Clean Water Project, Doctors Without Borders, Operation Smile Train, and Stop Human Trafficking,
